Studio Jade represents the calm before the storm. In this piece, I build up materials in the jade leaves to add texture and physical dimension. The pattern is beautiful yet stimulating behind the solid and still plant upon the podium. Thousands and thousands of intricate hand-drawn lines add moments of spontaneity.
Jade is an interesting plant. I keep it around to remind me that the more you abuse it, the heartier it gets. Some of us are like that, too.
